STEM centers-Collaboration in Action!

Students in Mrs. Martin's room were highly engaged in their STEM learning centers today!  They had the following learning objectives:
I can create a simple machine.
I can conduct a lab experiment.

There were a variety of centers in the room:

Here is a pic of how the stations are organized.  Students rotate to a new center as they complete the activities at their current center.  At the end of the week, they discuss their successes and key learning points.  This inspires others to want to try each of the centers.
