Sunday Scoop 9.24.17

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for an AWESOME day of growing and learning on Friday.  We had a lot of courageous conversations and new learning in our efforts to support our students.

Picture Day: Wednesday, September 27th.  The schedule can be found here.

Grades 3-5 Data Team meetings:  We will be meeting on Thursday in the creation station.  Please bring your laptops and all specialists are encouraged to attend (ELL, Math, Reading, etc)

PTG Request Form:   Please feel free to complete form found on our Concord Resource Page (found under Concord Forms) for any items you would like to request.  Our parents are SO excited to help fund your projects and requests.

Curriculum Guides and Priority Standards: As you are beginning your work with your SLO’s, please be sure to use the updated curriculum guides that can also be found on our Concord Resource Page (found under Curricular Information).  All of the current priority standards are listed on page 2 of the curriculum guides.

Fall Lindbergh U courses are now available for you to sign up in MLP.  Here are some of the courses that support our building and personal PGP goals.
Registration will close on 9/29/17 at 3:30 p.m.

MANDATORY PD REMINDER...LAST WEEK!!!!  All emails from SafeSchools went out last week.  If you have not received an email with your mandatory PD modules from SafeSchools, please try the following steps:

1.  Check your spam, promotions, social folders.  It would come from Lindbergh R-VIII School.  Looks like this:
2.  If you still cannot locate the email, please contact Rachel Slunaker through email at rachelslunaker@lindberghschools.ws  She will send you the information you need to get going.
Thank you for your patience with our new program.  Reminder:  All mandatory PD is required to be completed no later than September 30th.

Sunday Night Lights, September 24:  Sunday Night Lights is a fantastic program that allows kids battling cancer and serious childhood illnesses to participate as athletes, cheerleaders, and band members under the lights at Lindbergh High School in a typical high school football.  Our Concord Choir is performing before the game and during half time.  Pregame starts at 6:30.   I hope to see you tonight!
