Indicator 7.2 (Assessment Data to Improve Learning) in action

Clear objectives posted: I can look at a scoring guide rubric to make sure my math journal page has all the parts it needs.
Whole group mini-lesson to talk about cross out strategy for subtraction.  In journal, they had to use this strategy and then use the scoring rubric to evaluate their work.
Teacher then floated around the room to help students analyze their work.
