Weekly Update 5.18.16-5.21.16

Hi all!  I cannot thank you enough for your efforts this past week!  From iDiscover with grandparents to staff development to Spirit Festival, you kept things running without a hitch while I was out sick.  I still feel like I have been run over by a truck but am so looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on Monday and working among the living!

9 and 1/2 days to be exact.....not that anyone is counting!  If you are looking for some fun engaging activities for the next two weeks, here are a few ideas:
  • 6 Engaging End of Year Projects on Edutopia
  • Dash and Dot robotics
  • Lego Mindstorm robots
  • Lego stop motion app with legos from library
  • Garden adventures/reading
  • Reading in the lobby
  • An entire Pinterest board dedicated to end of year activities
  • Invite Dr. Moehlmann or Dr. Mariscal in to read aloud to your class

End of Year Reminders:
Fly Up Day/Last Day of School Information: Please note the changes to fly up day on the last day of school. When planning for this, you may want to consider that student will not have art supplies and it will be a short time given travel times.
