Ourr students love reading online using their devices. I like to make bookmarks on the iPad so kids can easily access great reading resources. National Geographic Young Explorer Magazine is an excellent resource for nonfiction reading. Students can click through the magazine playing audio clips while reading along. The word being read in the text is highlighted in a different color so it is easy for the kids to follow along with the audio clips. There is a collection of magazines that include articles about animals, plants, stars, etc.
