ReplyDeleteThe first thing I'm going to do is setup my students on Seesaw! ;) I was looking for a way to inspire kiddos to put greater efforts into writing mini-lesson craft moves. I'd like to use Seesaw by having students record themselves talking about how they implemented that day's mini lesson craft move while showing us their writing! - Lindsey
ReplyDeleteI’ve started using see saw during writer’s workshop after the break. They took pictures or videos of their writing and commented on the craft moves that they used. Since then, I have expanded my use of See Saw to during PBL time as well. I am finding that it is very easy to find time for the students to see saw their work. They have a new level of ownership with their work. I plan to incorporate See Saw with their guided reading books very soon. - Kim
ReplyDeleteThird grade talked in PLC today about using Seesaw to have the students demonstrate their understanding of our reading minilessons during independent reading time. We are in the middle of a character studies unit and this would be a great way for our students to show us the character traits they are identifying in their stories. #3rdamigos
