Weekly Update 4.17.16-4.23.16

MAP testing will kick into high gear on Monday.  Please remind students that we must be respectful in the hallways.  Testing will be occurring morning and afternoon throughout the entire building. Please look at the “Block tab” for reminders on who has block at what time.  Art and Music will be on a cart for 2 weeks.   The library will also not host classes.  

Now is the time to be encouraging to our students who will take the MAP test.  Everyone has worked hard to get to this point, and we want them to know we are all rooting for them to be successful. Here are a few last minute thoughts:

• If you need help, call the office. Terri will get in contact with someone who can support you. We will be all hands on deck the first few days to ensure a successful start.
• If you have makeups, please email Velina with names.
• Rain drop stickers are in mailboxes for each day of testing-one rain drop for attendance and one for effort/quiet in halls.

Early Dismissal

We will meet in the cafeteria at 2:00 on Wednesday.  The character committee will be leading our professional development for the day.  Please remind your families about our 1:40 dismissal on Wednesday.

Spirit Day Opportunity

Craig Hamby needs all of you rooting for the Blues on Tuesday night, so here is the deal.  If the Blues win on Tuesday night, then Wednesday will be a workout Wednesday spirit day.  Let’s go Blues!!!!
