Make it Matter-Monday

Check out how 3rd graders in Ms. Tackes' class are starting their Monday.   Here is the message to students: "Good morning!  Please take a post it and create a goal for how you can spread kindness in the clasroom and in the school this week.  Place your post it under your name when you are finished."  What an easy way to encourage kindness!   #beawesomeconcord

Drop Off time: Please remember that drop off time in the morning begins at 8:20 and concludes at 8:40.  We have had families dropping children off before supervision begins and students continue to arrive later each day.
Lunch Accounts: Please be sure to update payments to lunch accounts.  You can check in SIS to see how much is owed on your accounts.
Service Logs due April 1st: Just a reminder that all service logs are due April 1st for the Presidential Service Award.  Please be sure to send your logs with the total number of hours served.

A special thanks to Mr. Steve Ippolito for catering lunch for the staff.  We so appreciate it!

Measuring for the Art Show

Measuring for the Art Show

Students in Emily Faulstich's room have been exploring number sense and place value along side measurement.  They have problem solved how to decompose numbers and use an open number line to add two digit numbers.
At the end of the unit, the students created their own Art Show. They invited their families and displayed how Math and Art compliment each other.

Weekly Update 2.5.17-2.11.17

Staff Meeting
We will spend this meeting discussing the Intent to Return form that you will receive on Feb. 15.  While I will be out the rest of the day, I will be there for the staff meeting.

A special congrats to our Lindbergh Leaders, especially Velina Critchlow, Leigh Niemann, and Jenny Bond.  We thank you for all of your service to Lindbergh!

Learning Lab Reflections
Thanks again for a fun learning lab this week.  Check out some of TK’s projects using legos.  They had to pick a character and something the character does in their book and then use Legos to create both.  After that, they compared and contrasted their creations.  Remember the lego kits are available in the library.
